Introduced in 1986, the Riedel Vinum collection of wine glasses was the first machine-made line in history to be based solely on the characteristics of each type of wine. The large bowl of the Vinum Bordeaux/Cabernet wine glass allows the bouquet to develop fully, and the rim of the glass allows the wine to be delivered to the parts of the tongue that perceive sweetness, accentuating the dark fruits and berries, and mellowing the bitterness of the tannins.
